Is drinking water important?!?

Water is good!

Water is more of a nutrient for our body to fuel it than drinking soft drinks and very sugary drinks as well.  Drinking water helps you maintain the balance of your body fluids like for instance keeping your body temperature normal.  Another way of controlling your calories is water and drinking lots of it can help as a weight loss strategy.  When working out water is great for energizing muscles to get fluids into the muscle so they don't fatigue.  The body is a machine fueled by water.  Water is the fuel of life.

  3. Water is great! Did you also know that according to the American College of Sports Medicine, you should drink about 17 ounces of water two hours before you begin to exercise. Muscle cells work a lot better when they have enough fluid.

  4. I would have to say that water is my favorite drink. I can tell when I am hydrated enough. Most people do not get enough water in a day and I would not be surprised if over 60% of people drink enough water to be hydrated. I would have to agree that drinking a gallon a day of water makes me feel great!

  5. Water is far more important than people realize. Drinking water can help keep people focus during class and studying. Most of the time when people have headaches, lack of water is the reason. Also, many times when people think they are hungry, they are actually thirsty. This goes to show how important water is to the body.

  6. While training for the Mr. SRU competition, I drank about a gallon of water a day. I hadn't realized how great drinking this much water could make me feel. After going through this phase of my semester, I no longer drink these sugar-loaded drinks like I used to. I agree that water is a lot more important than people think. Just be careful, when I was drinking a gallon a day, I was in the bathroom every 30 minutes!
